About Us

 

The Retirement Home is an Idea of Mr. Ronald García, who has thought in providing a comfortable and natural place for retired people to live or spend a season in Costa Rica having a good care given by professional staff that appreciate the wisdom of elder people. This project is recently under construction and it will be available to all our guests in april 2008.

This project tries to invite retire people who do not want to stay during winter time in their country and prefer to move to a place that offers all the weather conditions to live and also require caring service to have a better life quality.

Our residents will feel the affection and politeness from our professional staff that will love to stay forever.

About Costa Rica


Costa Rica

Costa Rica is located in Central America, between Panama and Nicaragua. It is a little larger than Switzerland, with just 50,000 km2 extension. 10% of the 3.4 million inhabitants live in San Jose, and more than half the population lives in the Central Valley, occupying less than 20% of national territory. This nation is a founding member of the United Nations since 1945. There are several active volcanoes: Irazú, Poás, Rincón de la Vieja and Arenal, the most active of all, with eruptions every 15 minutes. The highest mountain, Cerro Chirripó which reaches 3,820 m or 12,000 feet. The coast stretches for 1,800 km and has three peninsulas (Osa, Papagayo and Nicoya). Approximately one-sixth of the national territory has been protected as national parks and wildlife reserves, a senior extension to the territory of Switzerland habitable. The country also has the famous Cocos Island, located about 500 km from the Pacific coast. 80% of the population is of Spanish origin. Most of the black and mulatto population (7%) live in the port city of Limon in the Caribbean or in the surrounding area. Nearly 40,000 indigenous people live in forests withdrawn. At present, approximately 250,000 foreigners live in

the country.

Attractions

Definitely, Costa Rica is a paradisiacal destination. This small republic measures 50.000 km2, almost equal to Switzerland. Its lies between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. It receives ecotourists admiration both for its abundance of wildlife, flora and trees as well as pensioners. Costa Rica doesn't have an army or nuclear plants, there is no winter season. Costa Rica has two seasons dry (summer) and rainy season. There is very little illiteracy and a lot of culture. As a neutral country friendly to foreigners, Costa Rica is ideal for those wishing to withdraw from the occupations of a professional life and business.

Weather

The Central Valley, or the plateau surrounding San Jose, is at an altitude of 1,165 m or 3,880 feet. Because of its location and an almost constant annual temperature of 20 degrees C or 68 F, its climate is regarded as the healthiest on the planet, according to a study by NASA. You can enjoy a wide variety of micro depending on the region and the altitude at which it is: green ridges, rainy and cold, where many dairies have been established; Tropical rain forests and dry; The Caribbean coast and wet Pacific dry; and the cloud forest. You can find almost everything! In the area higher than with a hotel, a 3,000 m or 9,000 feet high, we can see frost almost every night. Its wide range of climates allows for the existence of multiple forms of animal and plant life: 9,000 species of flowering plants, 1,200 species of orchids, 850 birds, 205 mammals and 376 species of reptiles and amphibians.

Society

We believe that one of the main reasons for which Costa Rica is known as the Switzerland of Central America is its educational system. Education is free and compulsory since 1843. The high level of education-in addition to not having the army is what makes Costa Rica, the most politically stable country in Latin America.
